Coronation Street fans predict 'blast from the past' will get revenge on Tracy

Coronation Street fans think they've worked out a familiar face will soon return to the cobbles, bringing with her a newcomer dead set on revenge.

Shelley Unwin left Weatherfield in 2006 after a very rocky romantic life. The former manageress of the The Rovers certainly knew how to pick her partners.

First she was with Peter Barlow, with the pair getting married. Unbeknown to her, though, he had already married somebody else.

Next, she hooked up with abusive builder Charlie Stubbs. He later got together with Tracy Barlow, who killed him after concocting a web of lies to make it look like he had been attacking her.

But what some viewers may have forgotten is that when Shelley left the street for good, she was pregnant with Charlie's baby. And some fans think their child may soon return, eager to get revenge on Tracy - who was let out of prison extremely early due to a flaw in the case.

Posting in a Facebook group for Corrie lovers, one fan said: "Shelley was pregnant with Charlie Stubbs' baby when she left Corrie. That baby would be 15 now. How good would it be if she came back with the kid?"

Another replied: "They'd definitely be after Tracy, would make a great Christmas episode". A second said: "She was brilliant! Would love her to come back".

A third said: "Yeah and it'll probably look just like Charlie and he'll probably be looking for Tracy for some kind of revenge". A fourth said: "Wow that's a blast from the past. I wonder if it's a son or a daughter".
