Coronation Street fans have predicted that there could be a romance in store for Amy Barlow and Asha Alahan after spotting a sweet moment between the best friends.
Asha has had an incredibly difficult time recently after being trolled and bullied after a video of her undressing was leaked online without her permission.
The 14-year-old's love interest Corey had secretly recorded her while another girl sent the video out to others at school in a group chat.
Despite the nastiness at school, Asha has been firmly supported by Amy.
So Amy was left devastated after Asha revealed that Dev was planning to move her and Aadi to a private school.
"Flipping Oakhill," Amy fumed.
Asha questioned: "Is it really that bad?"
"Yeah, they're all well up themselves," Amy responded. "What about me? I thought we were going to get through it together."
"We are," Asha insisted. "We will. Look, you've been brilliant."
Amy went on to plead for Asha to not go and she explained her reasoning, saying that she wanted a fresh start.
But Amy was still upset, saying: "I just don't want to lose you."
"You won't, ever," Asha replied.
"I love you," Amy responded as they hugged and fans loved the sweet moment.
One tweeted: "Why do I see these two fallen in love #corrie."
While another commented: "Amy and Asha's friendship is beautiful #Corrie."
A third wrote with a crying emoji: "Amy & Asha #Corrie."
