Coronation Street fans are concerned that Summer Spellman appears to be growing closer to her teacher Daniel Osbourne.
The teacher was recently accused of favouritism towards Summer by David Platt after he prioritised giving her private tuition over his son Max.
And he swooped to the rescue to help with her plans to apply to Oxford University.

Corrie viewers are worried that the teen, who recently started a wholesome relationship with her neighbour Aadi Alahan, is developing a crush on the widower played by Rob Mallard.

And fans, pointing out that Summer is 17 and Daniel is 26, took to Twitter to have their say.
"Please don't go there with Summer and Daniel," pleaded one soap watcher with sick faces.
"Are they going for 'Hot for Teacher' with Summer and Daniel?" asked another.
"Is Summer falling for Daniel?" asked another.

"Daniel and Summer may start as innocent tutoring but I think Summer will start to get a crush on Daniel," another pointed out.
"Summer fancies Daniel," another tweeted.
On Friday Summer becomes teacher's pet when she offers to mentor Max and Daniel thinks it's a great idea.
Summer is played by 23-year-old Harriet Bibby.
She took over the role of Billy Mayhew's goddaughter in November last year from Matilda Freeman.
The role was recast after Matilda, who was the same age as the character, decided to leave the soap.
Harriet, from Wigan, said at the time about playing a teenager: "It doesn't feel that bizarre.
"I still feel like a kid and I do have a baby face, and she's had a difficult past which has made her more mature."
In her first storyline as Summer the character returned from her grandmother Geraldine's to discover that her former guardian Todd Grimshaw had returned to Weatherfield after being on the run.
"It would be lovely to see her get stuck into more emotional storylines," she said previously.
"I'd like to see her grow as a person. She's not had an easy life so far."
