Coronation Street fans claimed to have known the latest twist was coming as Joseph Brown went missing.
And they were soon flocking to social media to point out an issue with the plot.
Wednesday night's trip to the cobbles saw Joseph upset with his dad, Chesney after he went against his wishes and spoke to the school about his bullying ordeal.
Upset with his dad for betraying his trust and wishes, Joseph stormed off.

Chesney went to talk to him in the backyard, thinking that he was hiding away in a den, only to find he wasn't there.
After a brief look around, Chesney went back inside and told Gemma he couldn't find Joseph, leading to a frantic search.
They'll soon discover, however, that their efforts were wasted as it was revealed to viewers of the ITV soap that Joseph is hiding in his auntie Fiz's attic.
And he has cousin Hope Stape's help.

Hope seen shining a torch at her runaway relative and nonchalantly asking which flavour of crisps he would like.
But Corrie fans were quickly left questioning one very specific detail.
@JulieCowen said: "How could they even get up there Fiz obviously isn't paying much attention to where Hope is?"
"How the hell did they get up into [the] loft without being caught?? Even worse how can they reach [the] loft hatch??" @mackriellmartin commented.
@KerylHowells tweeted: "How did they get in the loft - I'm 55 and can't use my loft ladder."

"How can a 10 year old get in a loft? Without anyone noticing? And where’s that huge tv from that box? It’s not in their house ! #corrie," @kaytydaty echoed.
@janiegirl44 added: "I'd like to know how Hope's manages to get in the attic needing a ladder! And Fiz hasn't seen or heard ladder on landing?? In a small terrace house. Other than that it's obvious Hope was to hide him."
But @ElaineWharton1 shared: "Didn’t Fizz & Tyrone have their attic converted into a bedroom a few years ago? About the only thing they’ve done at the house! #Corrie."
