Coronation Street fans notice strange blunder as Sally and Tim row

Coronation Street fans spotted a blunder in tonight's show - as rain came out of nowhere.

One minute Gary was standing in the street having punched Daniel, and the next a huge downpour started, despite it being sunny in the background.

Then Sally and Tim had a slanging match in the the street as the rain continued, but as Sally remained dry, Tim was drenched.

And it didn't take fans long to notice the strange weather phenomenon.

Callum said: "Why are they making it rain+ The Fake Thunder Claps when it's clearly sunny."

Tim A Roberts said: "Gary’s character is almost as ridiculous as that sunshine downpour."

Matt Sheriff said: "Fakest rain shower ever in #Corrie"

@gffcontwitch said: "Rain looks fake, as its cracking the flags."

The reason for the rain became clear later on however as Daniel told Bethany to have a shower at their house and said he would clean her wet clothes - meaning the pair could spend more time together.

*Coronation Street continues at 7:30pm on ITV on Monday
