And I'm scared that when you wanted me to dance in the kitchen with you to Tiny Dancer by Elton John that In didn't dance enough, that I should have spun you like you spun me and I don't know why I didn't.

"And I'm scared that when you used to come in my bed in the mornings that I pushed you away, only because your toes were so cold, not because I didn't love you.

"I love you mum. I love you but it's all too late now."

Last month rising star Jude scooped the best newcomer prize at the National Television Awards.

"Sam is breaking my heart," said one viewer on Twitter.

"Jude is well worth his NTA win. Brilliant wee actor," commented another.

"@JudeRiordan is phenomenal so far tonight. What a pure young talent he is," a third commented.

"Sam has got me crying buckets," tweeted another.

"Jude is honestly one of the best actor's I've ever seen in @itvcorrieand at such a young age. What an incredible young man. He makes Sam so amazingly real," another wrote.

"Awww man little Sam is breaking me, how can someone so young play the part so well you can actually feel the hurt," said another.

Natasha was shot last week by escaped convict Harvey Gaskell in a case of mistaken identity.

The drugs lord was seeking revenge on Leanne Battersby and thinking he had found her in the flat, he opened fire.

But when Nick Tilsley arrived home, he was shocked to discover his ex Natasha lying lifeless on the floor in the same Morticia Addams Halloween costume as Leanne.

On Monday night as they waited for her to come out of theatre, Sam collected gifts for his mum and wrote her a card.

He was told by a doctor that his mum had passed away and Corrie fans were left heartbroken by the emotional scenes.

Sam actor Jude took to social media to pay tribute to his on-screen mum, played by Rachel Leskovac.

Sharing a picture of the pair cuddled up outside the hospital where they filmed their final scenes, the youngster wrote on Instagram: "My last day with @rachelleskovac on @coronationstreet I think you can see how emosh we were.

"Eyes red raw from crying. I think it's very clear how much we clicked from our first face time last spring.

"I wish we could've spent forever playing Mum & Son BUT its not the end for Rachel and Jude, cake on Wednesday ... keep watching Corrie to see how Sam gets on with his huge MISS."
