Coronation Street fans make dark predictions about mysterious Jade's true identity

Coronation Street fans' minds have been boggling as they rushed to predict the true identity of Jade Rowan, a suspicious new character on the soap.

She has moved to Weatherfield to help Fiz with her rebellious daughter Hope, becoming her live in tutor.

She worked with Hope at a specialist school in Birmingham, but now that Hope has returned to be home-schooled, Fiz needed some extra assistance.

Viewers have already started to predict that Jade, played by Lottie Henshall, is not all that she seems, according to Katie Fitzpatrick at the Manchester Evening News .

One tweeted: I wonder if Jade is related to John," tweeted one, referring to Fiz's murderous late husband John Stape.

Another pondered: "So here's my theory.. Jade will be some relation to John Stape.. my guess is his sister who will try to kill Fiz".

"You can see this storyline panning out ... Jade’s weird and a bit single white female, Evelyn tries to convince everyone else she’s bad for Hope but they don’t believe her," said another.

"Jade is a psycho teacher/nanny. I’ve worked out her plan - she's gonna kill Fiz and steal her family," said a fourth.

Played by Graeme Hawley, the character was killed off in 2011 after covering up teacher Colin Fishwick's death from a heart attack so he could take on his identity, killing Colin's mother Joy Fishwick and murdering his colleague Charlotte Hoyle

The character died after crashing his car into the back of a lorry, during a car chase with Kevin Webster.

Suspicions over mysterious Jade were sparked further when she was seen altering a drawing Hope had done to look like Fiz, next to the words "and then you die."
