Sally Dynevor has been flooded with messages after being awarded an MBE in the Queen's New Year Honours.
The Coronation Street star, who has been on our screens as Sally Webster/Metcalfe since 1986, has been made an MBE for services to drama.
Sally, 57, said she is 'still in shock' at the honour after finding out earlier this month.
And the congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the actress.
A tweet from the official ITV Corrie account read: "A huge congratulations to Sally Dynevor for being recognised in the New Year's Honours list and being awarded an MBE."
But they added a sentiment shared by many Coronation Street fans following the announcement as they wonder: "Just imagine Sally Metcalfe's reaction if it was her."

"I think Sally Metcalfe would shout it from the rooftops for the whole world to hear Congratulations @sallydynevor," wrote one.
