Coronation Street fans went into meltdown on Monday night when Ken Barlow seemed to say a very naughty word.
The Corrie legend, played by William Roache, turned the air blue while chatting to Norris Cole at their retirement complex.
During a private chat, Ken urged Norris to tell Frieda how he really feels about living at Stillwaters after he compared it to a cult.
When Norris admitted that she loves it there, Ken appeared to reply: “And you think it’s a load of ‘b******s’.
Norris let out a wry giggle after Ken’s sensational outburst, which happened before the 9pm watershed.
Shocked Coronation Street fans took to Twitter to question what they had heard.
One stunned viewer said: “Noooooooo did ken barlow just say B******S”
“Is it me or did Ken say 'you think it's a load b******s’ to norris,” added another.
A third asked: “Did ken just say “b******s!”?All is right with the world.”
“I don’t know if I’m delirious from recent news or Ken Barlow just said b******s on #Corrie,” said a fourth.
However, Corrie were quick to point out that Ken was actually referring to painter Jackson Pollocks.
The official Corrie Twitter account tweeted: “Ken said Pollocks, as in Jackson! #Corrie #ArtJokes #Ken #Norris”
Corrie viewers also had some more light relief when Ken and Norris attended a painting workshop .
Many were convinced that the pair were wearing hazmat suits as they donned the bright blue overall outfits to protect their clothing from paint.
Ken and Norris' costumes were a complete coincidence as the ITV soap is filmed around six-weeks in advance.
