Meanwhile, viewers of the long-running soap have been fuming after watching Tuesday's episode.

Fiz Brown and Tyrone Dobbs were embroiled in a heated row in the Rovers Return pub as they argued about the flat.

The character, played by Jennie McAlpine, was upset as Tyrone told her he wouldn't be selling No.9 because it means too much to him and is the closest thing he has to a "childhood home".

However, Fiz desperately wants to move on from the flat after Tyrone (Alan Halsall) left her for Alina Pop earlier this year, and wants to purchase a house with her new boyfriend Phill.

Fans were angered when Tyrone offered her £15,000 but she claimed she was entitled to more money.

One person wrote: "Why does Fiz think she has the right to try and force Tyrone to sell? He's the one who owns it, and she's the one who wants to go #Corrie."

Another person tweeted: "Can’t stand fiz.. imagine it the other way round and Tyrone come round to her house and said sell the house fiz I need the money to move into a house with Alina.. she would tell him to do one. #Corrie."

Someone else posted: "Oh shut up fizz. Technically it is Tyrone’s home and you can’t force him to sell #corrie."
