Coronation Street viewers are raging after Daniel's reputation is being ruined through Summer's actions.
Teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) has had his reputation dragged through the mud this week as he is falsely accused of grooming his student, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).
The school girl has had a huge crush on her tutor as he has been helping her to apply for Oxford University.

Earlier in the week, classmate Max confronted Daniel at an ice ball by accusing him of abusing his position with Summer after Daniel approached Summer to praise the Ice Ball decorations.
She ended up swaying slightly and as he grabbed her arm to steady her, a suspicious Max filmed their exchange.
Daniel was shell shocked as Max claimed he has proof of the grooming during the confrontation.
A few days later, a distraught Summer assured Billy and Paul that Daniel is entirely innocent as Mrs Crawshaw interviewed Max and then Daniel.
Summer confided in Paul about how she and Daniel connected emotionally but he couldn’t act upon it because of his position leaving Paul horrified and convinced that Daniel was grooming her.
The storyline has come to a head as Daniel was reported to the police for grooming her and spent tonight's episode being questioned by them.
Viewers took to Twitter to express their concerns about the soap.
Amelia said: "I’m raging now summer acting like Daniel has been wanting to come on to her wtf #corrie."
Juani said: "Summer is a pathetic little girl. She’s Dreamed up this entire scenario in her head. She’s invisible to Daniel. He’s been far too involved and preoccupied with Daisy to give her a look in. She’s a deluded little girl who is going to ruin his career. #Corrie."
Another user said: "Summer is very stupid she's ruining the man's life over nothing."
Mags said: "Personally, I think this story currently playing out in #corrie is very very important. It goes to show how perfectly innocent individuals have their lives ruined by others totally wrapped up in their own world of delusions."
