Coronation Street fans have questions as missing Carla 'magically' appears in Roy's flat

Coronation Street viewers were thrilled to see Underworld boss Carla Connor back on the cobbles after being missing for weeks - but they have questions.

Carla, played by Alison King, turned up in her friend Roy Cropper's flat after he had been walking the streets looking for her.

Corrie fans are now wondering how the character, who had been living in squalor after suffering a mental breakdown, managed to get in the flat above the usually busy cafe without anyone seeing her, and before Roy.

"How did Carla get into the flat?" asked one fan.

"How did Carla get back that quick?! And how did no one see her?!" asked another.

"Wait, wouldn’t Carla have had to walk through the cafe to get to the flat? In full view of everyone," remarked another viewer on Twitter.

Tonight the Rovers Return is hosting a magic show and one viewer suggested she should enter after appearing as if by magic at Roy's.

"Carla should enter the talent show as a magician. She’s obviously able to teleport seeing as she got into Roy’s flat without anybody in the cafe noticing!" they tweeted.

Carla, tortured by the collapse of the factory roof and death of Rana Habeeb in March, finally went home after overhearing her dad Johnny and Roy talking about her during their search.

"She appears strong but underneath she's extremely vulnerable," said Roy.

"I just hope that now she knows I would do anything to keep her safe."
