Coronation Street fans frustrated as Curtis Delamere returns

Fans of Coronation Street were not happy to see Curtis Delamere back on the cobbles tonight.

While his ex-fiancée Emma Brooker was overjoyed to see him after failed attempts to contact him, fans were only left frustrated as the couple reunited.

They bumped into one another at the local hospital, which left fans reeling.

Viewers took to Twitter to question compulsive liar Curtis's motives.

Owen said: "Emma seeing Curtis at the hospital. What is he going to say is up with him this time? #Corrie."

One user said: "Wow I must be a mug because I genuinely believed Curtis when he said he wanted to get better. Poor Emma! #corrie #coronationstreet."

Another user said: "It’s Curtis the devil conning someone else with a hospital trip #Corrie."

Emma had driven Tim to the hospital after he had his fingers trapped in a car door and while there she happened to bump into Curtis.

He told her he was there to see a psychiatrist as he was eager to seek help for his illnesses.

She asked Curtis if they could chat and she apologised for accusing him of stealing the large amount of money and for all of the vile things that she had said.

Emma asked him if he wanted her to accompany him to his appointment but he said he wanted to do it on his own - adding that he wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't for her.

The couple agreed to speak later and he left to attend his appointment.

But, a little while later, Emma saw Curtis begging a receptionist to let him see a cardiologist and realised he had lied again.

They bumped into each other as they were leaving the hospital and she confronted him about his lies.

She said: "Curtis, I can't help you any more. Only a proper doctor can" before she left him in the care of his dad.

Coronation Street continues on ITV and the ITV Hub at 8pm on Friday
