Coronation Street fans flabbergasted after discovering Paul's very unusual real name

Coronation Street viewers were left gobsmacked today after discovering Paul Foreman's real name.

This evening, Paul (Peter Ash) was questioned by police over his abuser Kel's death.

Kel's body was found in the canal and Paul has been left struggling to deal with his feelings.

But while being questioned, the police referred to him by his birth name - Apollo.

And Gemma's real name is similarly astrologically linked and is actually Gemini.

Stunned fans took to Twitter to react, with one writing: "Did I hear that right? His name is Apollo 4?"

While another tweeted: "Can’t understand why Apollo would rather be known as Paul when Pollo is way cooler. @itvcorrie #corrie #coronationstreet."

A third commented: "So we’ve got Apollo and Gemini. I love #corrie."

One wrote: "#Corrie Paul aka Apollo??"

Another quipped with a crying laughing emoji: "Apollo fun."
