Coronation Street fans disturbed by Hope's threat to classmates

Coronation Street viewers were shocked to hear Hope Stape threaten to kill her classmates.

Before heading to school, Sam told Hope he has growing concerns regarding who she is surrounding herself with in school. After she brazenly relished in the fact a tell-all book was released about her serial killer father, her reputation amongst her peers skyrocketed.

Sam is aware of her growing popularity and said he was concerned some of her newfound friends may be using her. Brushing the comments aside, Hope said he had nothing to worry about as they would be dealt with swiftly if anyone goes against her.

Hope said: "I'll kill them." The comment caught Sam off-guard as he was quickly silenced and continued with his usual morning routine.

Viewers watching also couldn't wrap their heads around the threat as they joked about how extreme and unexpected she delivered the message.

One fan said: "Hope: you'll simply DIE if you don't show up to my book reading!" Another added: "Hope on a killing spree."

Whilst a third said: "Don't fall out with Hope, Sam. Could be more than your life's worth." A final added: "Hope is an icon and a legend and I’ll hear nothing that says otherwise."

The adults of Coronation Street have been kept in the dark regarding Hope's newfound fame nor do they know she is acting like a newfound celebrity in school. After a joke was made at her expense in the classroom, she turned to her backpack to retrieve a hammer, threatening her peers in person.
