Coronation Street fans were heartbroken for Carla after Simon ripped into her.
Peter suffered a breakdown after it was revealed Carla cheated on him with his nephew Adam.
Over the past month, Peter has relapsed following a period of abstinence with alcohol.

He's been found by Jenny and Johnny in the Rovers Return barely conscious - but it seems like his years of alcohol abuse are starting to catch up with him.
In tonight's episode, Carla spotted that Peter was looking extremely ill.
Carla begged Peter to let her help him but Simon made it clear she was no longer welcome.
Simon said: "This wouldn't have happened to dad if you hadn't slept with Adam.
"Get out, just go."
Carla said: "Oh Peter, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
Picking up her holdall, Carla headed out extremely upset.

While recognising her mistake, viewers said they felt extremely sorry for Carla.
Leigh said: "Oh god Carla is breaking my heart."
