Coronation Street has yet to confirm the identity of newcomer Scott to ITV viewers.
What the show has teased is that he's linked to Johnny Connor who is far from happy to see him again.
It's clear they share somewhat of a past, with the owner of The Rovers desperate to get away from him.
In the latest visit to the Cobbles, he did his best to avoid the newcomer, with wife Jenny suspicious of his antics.
While Scott got to know Liz McDonald, Johnny tried to convince his wife to go to France for a holiday.
The scenes hinted to fans he was hiding something, and had a huge history with mystery Scott.
Viewers were more suspicious than ever over the secretive storyline, and newcomer Scott's real identity.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, they begged the soap for answers on what was going on.
Not only that, but one viewer even queried if it somehow involved Johnny's daughter Carla Connor in a twist.
One fan tweeted: "I want to know Johnny and Scott's past omg."
Another agreed: "I wanna know who Scott is to Jonny."
A third added: "Intrigued about Johnny’s past."
This was echoed by a fourth viewer who said: "Intriguing... I'm very curious about Johnny's secret! Looking forward to this story."
Meanwhile, another viewer predicted: "Imagine Scott was Carla's REAL dad, now THAT would be a twist."
Corrie fans will have to stay tuned to see what unfolds, and what Johnny is hiding.
