Coronation Street fans think they've worked out for definite who newcomer Scott is - and how he's linked to Carla Connor.
The character arrived earlier this year, and immediately appeared to be focusing his attentions on Carla and her father Johnny Connor.
He and Johnny share a past that is yet to be delved into, other than the fact Scott knew Carla's mother.
Johnny fled to France within days of Scott's arrival at the pub, and he's since avoided returning home.
Since then, Scott has been stepping in to help Carla out, even tackling her recent blackmailers.
She was being targeted by Chelsey and Jordan, and on Wednesday it was confirmed he caused their recent attack.
During a chat with Carla's boyfriend Peter Barlow, he made it clear he was the attacker.
Amid theories over his identity, including possible links to Jordan and Chelsey, the key theory is that he could be Carla's real father.
As it remains a mystery, Peter is now alarmed to know what Scott did "for Carla" and confused as to why he keeps meddling in family business.
The fact Peter made a point to Scott that recent goings on were "family" related, as well as the fact that Scott went as far as to beat up Jordan and Chelsey, has left many adamant they've worked it out.
Taking to Twitter after the chilling scene where Scott alluded to all, viewers shared their thoughts that maybe Scott had finally given the game away.
As many still questioned who he was, others believed he was definitely the real father of Carla.
One fan said: "Reckon Scott could be Carla's dad."
Another agreed and replied: "Looking very much that way."
A third added: "Carla's dad..has to be."
Meanwhile one eager fan said: "The wait to find out who Scott is is killing me."
