Coronation Street fans beg soap bosses to show unaired scenes

Coronation Street viewers have called for the soap to show unaired scenes that were 'teased' this week.

Hearts melted when Corrie fans learned that Peter Barlow and his girlfriend Carla Connor were looking after baby Bertie for Daniel and Sinead Osbourne.

And they took to social media to demand to see what are sure to be heart-warming scenes.

"Peter and Carla with Bertie," tweeted one fan with a love-heart emoji.

Journalist Andy Gibson said: "Would it kill @ITVCorrie to let us see Carla and Peter with Bertie? It would honestly be one of the best scenes of the entire year."

"Imagine if we get Carla, Peter and Bertie scenes," said another.

"Corrie doing that shot to show the door in the cafe where Carla and Peter probably are with Bertie is just pure tease," grumbled another Corrie watcher.

And another told the soap: "I LOVE that Peter and Carla are playing uncle and auntie with Bertie so thank YOU!!! "What’d be really nice is if you were to show us these quality scenes."

Daniel's half-brother Peter and his partner, played by Chris Gascoyne and Alison King, stepped in to help during a shattering week that has seen young mum and newlywed Sinead learn that her cancer has returned and spread.

As she prepared to go on her honeymoon, the machinist was told she only has three to four months to live and faces a dilemma as she decides if she should continue with her chemotherapy.

Her devastated husband thinks the chemo, which is making Sinead sick, is robbing her of precious time with their baby but she wants to give it another try.
