Coronation Street fans baffled over 'magically appearing car' in epic blunder

Coronation Street viewers were quick to call out an epic blunder on Monday as Bethany Platt revealed she owned a car.

The ITV show left fans seriously baffled as Bethany offered Gary her Fiat 500 to hunt down Sarah, despite the popular character never having been spotted in the vehicle before.

There has also never been any mention of the popular character passing her test, and no previous sign of the vehicle on the driveway.

As the scenes aired, fans jumped to social media to question the moment, with many joking that it also seemed bizarre she had nicer wheels than her mum.

"Since when did Bethany have a car... I didn't even know she could drive #corrie," one wrote.

While another added: "My first car was an old Punto worth 600 notes. Unlike Bethany's fancy wheels. Where and how did that happen? She's never had a car before? #Corrie".

A third agreed: "Their cars just magically appear when the #Corrie residents need them".

It comes after Sarah also pulled up in a Golf just a few months ago, having never been seen with a vehicle on the soap before.

"Since when did Sarah a) drive; b) own a Golf?," one bemused viewer wrote at the time.

It's not just the random appearance of a car that has once again left viewers confused, but also the fact that characters on the cobbles seem to be lending out their vehicles so freely.

"What I wanna know why is Gary allowed drive Bethany car ? Is he insuranced to it? #Corrie @itvcorrie ," one questioned.
