Coronation Street fans have been left in agreement as a newcomer arrived on the cobbles.
During Wednesday night's double bill, viewers of the ITV soap were introduced to Isla.
She made her appearance and instantly hit it off with Tyrone Dobbs after bonding over their children.
The mechanic met Isla when he took daughter Ruby to a school friend's birthday party.

But Tyrone wasn't in the best of moods with the birthday girl's mum, Penny, after she refused to invite Ruby's sister Hope.
While at the kids’ party at Speed Daal, Tyrone makes it clear to Penny that he's not impressed by her attitude towards Hope and leaves early.
Tyrone, however, is soon approached by Isla who was impressed by the way he stood up to Penny and suggests they all go for a milkshake together.
Whilst Hope and Isla’s daughter, Darcy, giggle over their milkshakes, Isla flirts with Tyrone and suggests they meet for a drink sometime.
When Tyrone reveals that he’s agreed to a date with Isla, Fiz was irked and claimed he was ruining things for Hope and her "only friend".
Soap star Gemma Oaten has joined Corrie in the role of Isla for a brief stint.
And fans have already decided they'd like to see more.
"Loving Isla #corrie @itvcorrie @gemmaoaten," tweeted one.

Sharing on Twitter, Gemma said she was "totally overwhelmed" by the support.
The former Emmerdale actress also had a viewing party with her friends.
Sharing a snap of them all on Instagram, Gemma said: " Corrie viewing night at @wkrichard I am so so lucky to have to have the most amazing friends who go above and beyond for me always.
"That look from Isla seems to have gone down well @coronationstreet funnily enough this bunch know it far too well. I speak next episode!
"Thank you for the amazing support. Truly grateful."
