Coronation Street airs deadly scenes next week, as Rick Neelan prepares to kill Gary Windass in brutal scenes.
Gary is summoned to a remote location, after Rick suggests his former girlfriend Sarah Platt is in danger.
Just weeks ago Gary was beaten within an inch of his life by Rick, who thought he had broken into his office and stolen a load of passports.
But someone called the police, and Gary escaped while he’s been living in fear of Rick ever since.
Next week, the builder is horrified when Rick makes contact, intending on finishing what he’s started.
Fearing he’s kidnapped Sarah he heads off to find her, unaware she’s at a hotel with new lover Adam Barlow.
When he gets there, Sarah has stormed off and when the bellboy claims she was with a dark-haired man, he assumes Rick has got to her.
He calls Rick and accuses him of abducting her, and this gives Rick and idea for his plan to get to Gary.
The villain tells him to get to a specific location or he’ll never see Sarah again.
When he gets there he finds himself in deserted woodlands, with a shallow grave ahead of him.
He’s pounced on by Rick, and then begins the battle of his life – but will he survive?
Rick manages to overpower Gary, with spoiler pictures showing him attacking him with a shovel.
As the two men battle it out, viewers will have to tune in to see how the plot comes to an end.
