Coronation Street couple pose for adorable selfie as they have 'blurry' night at huge gig

Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor has posed for a number of loved-up snaps with her former co-star beau Charlie De Melo as they enjoyed a 'blurry' night out at a huge gig.

Georgia, who plays Toyah Habeeb in the ITV soap, and Charlie, who played her husband Imran Habeeb on the cobbles until last year when he was tragically killed off, appeared to confirm their romance back in February when they were seen in a string of snaps together from her birthday break.

The couple headed off to Edinburgh where Georgia was celebrating her 43rd birthday. Georgia first posted a picture of the scenic view of the city from the top of the ancient volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh. Meanwhile, a second image showed both Georgia and Charlie posing for a selfie.

Georgia then appeared to want to share another more from their trip as she posted two more strings of images to Instagram. In one snap, Georgia and Charlie posed together with Edinburgh Castle sitting in the background while another showed Georgia tucking into a local delicacy.

"Birthday weekend. An ancient volcano, a castle, many, many, many steps, deep-fried confectionery and a very fine moustachioed gentleman," she captioned the lovely post. And now, Georgia has joked that there is one reason she has decided to strike up a relationship with her former co-star.

"I’m only with him for the puppies," she typed along and Instagram post which featured a string of adorable pups and their mum, Sarah. Charlie was supported by his own social media followers when he revealed he was once again doing his bit for Guide Dogs UK. The former soap star has previously been described by the charity as a 'doggy doula'.

And now the pair have been seen out as they headed to Wembley Stadium to watch Blur. The Britpop group fronted by Damon Albarn are said to have delighted the massive crowd with a 25-song set comprising all their greatest hits and a few surprises in their first major UK show since playing London's Hyde Park eight years ago.

Taking to Instagram, Georgia shared a string of images from the gig. One showed her and Charlie posing for a selfie in the stadium with the crowds and the band on stage behind him. Other images showed the Wigan-born actress getting into the spirit with her phone torch lit on her camera before she shared some videos of Blur's performance.

"15 year old me would have been beside herself last night," Georgia started to type in the caption of her post to her 79.5K followers. "Blur, you were magnificent. The London Community Gospel choir lit up the stadium and Phil Daniels was a proper treat. And yes I cried at The Universal. I’m not made of stone. #blur."

And Georgia's fans and followers were loving seeing the pair together. @jeangilson said: "You two are frigging gorgeous." @hannahprentice10 wrote: "Aww cuties." @danellingham commented: "Ahhh what a beautiful picture of you both." @angelfruity replied: "Loving you and @charliedemelo." @nicolahoult added: "Aww fab you look gorg couple."
