Coronation Street airs the return of a past character next week, according to new spoilers and images.
Alina Pop is forced to face her past as she confronts former baddie Rachel, amid fears someone is trying to kill her.
The character was left in grave danger this week, when a fire was started in her flat with it soon revealed to be arson.
She currently has no idea it was her stepdaughter Hope that caused the fire, with her unaware Alina was inside the flat.
Knowing it was deliberate Alina is convinced love rival Fiz, Hope's mother, is to blame, before being left in fear the culprit may strike again.

Next week, she begins to question if her past involvement in a human trafficking scandal could be behind the incident.
Questioning if it is a revenge attack after she helped bring down Rachel and her organisation, which was being run from her salon, Alina panics.
It isn't long before she comes face-to-face with Rachel herself on the street, and she accuses her of being the one who caused the fire.

Former nail bar owner Rachel was arrested in 2019 over her involvement in the human trafficking ring, with Alina forced to work long hours in the salon against her will.
She was saved from the operation by late character Seb Franklin, with fan favourite Jan also helping to bring the operation down.
Rachel was soon arrested and left the show, but now she is back next week.

While it's only for a brief stint it seems, she and Alina come face-to-face for the first time in two years.
Previously, she tells police officer Craig Tinker about the case she was involved with, and her fears one of the gangs may have come back for revenge.
As she meets with Rachel, she blames her for the fire but is left alarmed by what she has to say.

Rachel insists that she is innocent, and had nothing to do with what happened - suggesting it was not related to her past at all.
Alina is left wondering who was behind it as a result of the interaction, and she will eventually discover the awful truth.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
