Coronation Street confirms Michelle and 'dead' Vicky's plot to bring down Robert

Coronation Street aired a huge twist on Monday night, as pregnant Vicky Jefferies showed up alive weeks on from vanishing.

Feared dead, residents thought her ex and baby daddy Robert Preston had killed her to silence her, on his wedding day to Michelle Connor.

Robert's double life with Vicky was exposed to Michelle and those in Weatherfield, just before an angry Vicky vanished.

After a violent row at the flat, Vicky went missing with blood found at the flat and in Robert's van.

It soon escalated when the van Sat Nav led police to the woods, with speculation Robert buried his pregnant ex there after killing her.

But a major twist revealed Vicky was fine - and Michelle knew all along.

Michelle and Vicky have teamed up to destroy cheating Robert for good.

The truth came out as a hooded character made their way into a hotel, before knocking on the door.

Michelle removed the hood before telling the person inside: "It's me!"

Vicky then emerged, telling Michelle: "Oh my God, it's been a long time my nerves are shot."

Michelle then confirmed Robert's arrest, with Vicky soon learning from son Tyler that he'd been charged with GBH.

Vicky was pleased, confessing it was the plan all along to have him charged with her murder.

She referred to it as "job done" while Michelle didn't seem so sure.

But how long will the ladies be able to keep it up, and will Michelle land herself in trouble?

Robert is tipped to be killed off in upcoming scenes this Christmas, while this is not confirmed.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on BBC One.
