Coronation Street fans were delighted to see a character who has been missing for months return to the soap on Wednesday night.
Tim paid a visit to his daughter, Faye, in prison on tonight's instalment.
He begged Faye not to give up hope of an appeal, citing Kelly's recent release.

However, a depressed Faye told her dad she was destined to remain in prison.
Faye, played by Ellie Leach, attacked Adam Barlow after believing it was actually Ray Crosby, who had used his position as her boss to coerce her into having sex with her and attempted to rape her.
Following the assault, in April, Faye was sentenced to three years in prison.
She has rarely been seen on screen since.
But fans were amazed to see her return on Wednesday.
Ryan said: "Faye is back."
Owen tweeted: "It’s only taken about seven months for Tim to go and visit Faye!"
Tina said: "HI FAYE. Long time, no see!"
Ben added: "Faye is back."
Ada said: "I kinda forgot all about, Faye!"
Mrs Bailey tweeted: "I'd completely forgot Faye was in the nick."
And Mike wrote: "Welcome back Faye @ellieLleach."
