An old Corrie favourite has joined Emmerdale and we’re going to remind you exactly who the actor is.
Danny Cunningham this week joined the ITV soap as newcomer Connor. The newbie was rather intimidating as he made a beeline to the scrapyard demanding money from Paul.
He did so by threatening to expose Paul’s gambling unless the money was paid. Some viewers were wondering what would happen if Mandy Dingle found out while others were a little distracted by Connor.
Many Emmerdale viewers were trying to place where they recognised Danny Cunnigham from. Well, if you are a Coronation Street fan, you’ll remember he’d previously walked the cobbles of ITV’s other massive soap, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The 48-year-old played Jimmy Sykes in Coronation Street in 2000 and 2001.
Danny previously appeared in Coronation Street as Jimmy Sykes. He was brother of Linda Sykes, the fourth wife of Mike Baldwin, whose secret affair with his son Mark was uncovered on their wedding day.
Viewers might also remember Danny for his roles in Holby City, Waterloo Road and Last Tango in Halifax.
He also played Liam in children's TV drama Grange Hill between 1995 and 1997. Danny also played Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder in the Manchester music film 24 Hour Party People alongside Steve Cogan back in 2002.
He also appeared with Coogan in comedy I’m Alan Partridge.
The actor looks set to be sticking around the Dales for a while though as Paul's lies begin to catch up with him.
