Coronation Street has hinted there could be truth behind recent Adam Barlow speculation, after pictures from filming suggested a new romance was on the cards.
Sam Robertson, who recently reprised the role after a short break, was spotted filming with Sarah Platt actress Tina O’Brien last month.
The pictures saw the pair kissing, leading many to believe Sarah would end things for good with boyfriend Gary Windass and move on with Adam after their near-kiss a few months ago.
Now, a backstage snap shared by Corrie on their Instagram appears to confirm this could be the case.

Amid the drama following Carla Connor’s mental breakdown and on/off partner Peter Barlow’s alcohol relapse, the pair feature in a new behind-the-scenes photo in the Barlow household.
They are joined by Peter’s father Ken Barlow and, you guessed it, Ken’s grandson Adam and Sarah.
While it’s not known what exactly is going on in the scenes, they appear to be discussing things over a meal.
The caption of the post reads: “We've had a week of glorious sunshine - but are there stormy times ahead on the Street?”
Nothing “stormy” appears to be occurring, but we’re more curious as to what Sarah is doing there, and whether this proves a romance.
Perhaps Sarah and Adam are up to something, and there isn’t anything going on romantically, but fans are convinced.
Taking to the post, one fan simply said: “Sarah and Adam,” having spotted them.
Another quizzed: “Sarah round at the Barlows?!”
A third commented: “And is Sarah at the Barlow table with Adam finally.” with a couple emoji.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
