Coronation Street spoilers have confirmed horror scenes ahead next week, as one character suffers a nasty accident.
Abi Franklin is left unconscious after an incident at the garage, and she soon finds herself trapped.
She is rushed to hospital ahead of a devastating loss, with son Seb soon making an alarming discovery.
After recently learning that her young twins were moving to Australia with their adoptive family, Abi was distraught.
Seb tried to get through to his mum to make her see it was to give them a better life, also urging her to say goodbye.
After falling out with him over her decision not to, next week Abi confides in her son and finally agrees to see them before they start their new lives.
Abi calls social services and they are happy for Abi to meet with the twins before they leave, with Seb having contacted the family.
She promises her son that she will be there, only for disaster to strike.
While working on a car alone at the garage, she slips and falls over.
Pictures appear to show her unconscious, before she wakes up and realises she's trapped her arm.
A desperate Abi can't move or call for help, as Seb desperately tries to get hold of her when she doesn't show up.
Fearing she has let the twins down again, Seb has no idea his mother is injured back at the garage.
Seb returns to her house to find her, furious that she didn't say goodbye to the youngsters.
But he is shocked to realise that she's been in a serious accident, and has been rushed to hospital.
Has Abi missed her chance to say farewell to her children, and how will she react?
It's no doubt set to be a tough time ahead for her.
