Coronation Street actor Tracy Shaw has issued a cancer update as she praised the “gift of life” in a reflective post.
Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock in the soap, told her Instagram followers in April that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
In an Instagram post uploaded on Sunday (17 May), the 52-year-old revealed that she will find out her chemotherapy start date following a hospital appointment on Monday (18 May).
In the video montage, the actor shared clips of her spending time outdoors with her dogs, as well as selfies of herself. “Life is a gift,” she wrote. “In between hospital appointments I embrace nature for peace. Time to reflect, unwind and breathe.”
