Coronation road closures in Bristol area - full list including bus disruption

Dozens of roads in the Bristol area will close this weekend as communities throw street parties for the King's Coronation. As well as affecting through-traffic, some bus services are also impacted by the closures as people come together to celebrate.

Information on TravelWest's website advises: "The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will be taking place on May 6 2023. of will mean some road closures will take place in our region to host the celebrations.

"As well as the bank holiday on Monday will mean bus services may operate a different timetable to a usual Monday." A quick-read list of affected roads and services are listed below, but check TravelWest and the bus operator websites for more information about a specific service.
