Coro the Chocolate Café on Sauchiehall Street closes to the public

A popular café in the city centre has closed permanently to the public.

Coro the Chocolate Café on Sauchiehall Street has closed its doors after three years of trading.

The impact of the coronavirus virus pandemic has been indicated as the reason behind the closure.

Customers with gift vouchers are being advised to contact the company directly to discuss their options.

Information on the closure is yet to be posted online and social media accounts for the Glasgow café are also still indicating that it's open.

Coro joins a growing number of businesses forced to close since the pandemic took hold in March.

Over the last few months, we've reported on a number of closures including The Ingram Wynd, Esca, Wee Lochan, Yo! Sushi, Pizza Express and Frankie and Benny's.

Coro have been approached for comment.
