Cornerback Bradley Roby downgraded to out in Week 7 at the Colts

The Houston Texans have declared that cornerback Bradley Roby is out for the team’s Week 7 match-up with the Indianapolis Colts Sunday at 1:00 ET at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Roby had been battling a hamstring injury that knocked him out in the third quarter of the team’s 31-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 at Arrowhead Stadium. Throughout the week, Roby was listed as a limited participant in all three of the team’s practices, and was a given a questionable designation on Friday.

However, Roby will not make the trip with the team to Indianapolis and has been downgraded to out.

The Texans have ambiguity as to the status of fellow starting cornerback Johnathan Joseph, who injured his hamstring in practice on Oct. 11 just before the Chiefs game and had to miss that contest. Like Roby, Joseph was a limited participant in all three practices leading up to the Colts, and since Roby is out, it puts even more of a premium on Joseph’s availability.
