Nerves will be setting in for both Limerick and Cork Minor players as they gear up for the Hurling Championship semi-final this evening.
Cork lost to Limerick at this stage in last year’s competition but will be hoping to set the record straight this time around.
Both sides go into the game in a good position but they certainly know what is at stake this evening as they bid for a chance to create history for their county.
The game is set for a 7:30pm throw-in at Semple Stadium in Thurles this evening and it is expected to be another thrilling encounter between two top sides.
Cork thrashed Clare in the last round as they enjoyed a 40-point win in whilst Limerick were drawn to the semi-final.
That made it an easy decision for Rebels’ boss Noel Furlong to name an unchanged side for this evening’s encounter.
Waterford and Tipperary will battle it out in the other semi-final this evening and all four teams in action tonight will be hoping that they can book their spot in the final of the competition next month.
