Cork Under-20s unable to play Saturday's All-Ireland final as all players and management deemed close contacts

Cork Under-20s have been dealt a hammer blow as all players and management have been deemed close contacts to a confirmed coronavirus case.

Cork GAA released a statement saying they would be unable to fulfil the fixture. and said that they would be unable to fulfil the upcoming final.

The County Board revealed that a member of the group tested positive for the virus and all players and management have been deemed close contacts by the HSE.

In a statement, it says: "A member of the Cork U20 Hurling group has tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, all players and management have been deemed close contacts by the HSE.

"Therefore, Cork will be unable to fulfil Saturday's All Ireland U20 Final fixture at this time."

Cork beat both Tipperary and Limerick en route to the final and are due to face Galway with the game now thrown in doubt.
