Cork teenager missing from home for over week as family and Gardai concerned

Gardai are very concerned for the welfare of a teenage boy who has been missing in Cork for a week.

Leo Boyers-Hipwell, 16, was last seen at his home in Ballycrenane, Ballymacoda last Wednesday.

Leo is described as being five feet and nine inches in height and of very slim build, with light brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of Chinese writing on his right or left wrist.

It is not known what Leo was wearing when he left home, Cork Beo reports.

His family as well as gardai are very concerned for the boys welfare and appealing for anyone who may have seen him to get in touch.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and Leo's family are concerned for the welfare. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact  Midleton  Garda Station on 021 - 4621550 or The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
