Popular Cork restaurant Son of a Bun has continued its tradition of creating unorthodox burgers with their new 'The Cow Jumped Over the Prawn' burger, and people are going absolutely nuts over it.
After introducing classics like the 'The Chipper', 'The Sunday Roast', 'Whiskey in a Bun' and 'Berry Cheesemas', the new burger looks set to be just as popular, with their unveiling post getting almost 400 comments on Facebook in the last number of days.
'The Cow Jumped Over the Prawn' burger contains candied red chilies, breaded garlic prawns, double edam cheese, 6oz patty, tomato, lettuce, lime tomato and paprika mayo in a brioche bun, CorkBeo reports.
As you can see from the picture, the Son of a Bun crew's latest creation certainly doesn't disappoint visually, and judging by the reaction so far it tastes even better.
As always though, the Son of a Bun social media crew do need to wade through plenty of comments from people requesting that their favourite burger makes a return to the menu as well.
There are already lots of people making plans to visit the McCurtain Street restaurant to sample their latest creation.
The new burger will be available for the month of March, before another new burger arrives for the Cork public to drool over!
