Cork restaurant's brilliant response to customer's bad review over 'fancy water'

One of Cork's finest establishments brilliantly responded to a customer who docked some stars over an issue with water.

O'Sullivan's Bar posted the customer's issue on their Facebook page acknowledging they had to take the "good with the bad".

The diner actually gave an alright review - three stars out of five - saying the food was tasty but took issue with the waiter not knowing what Pellegrino was, Cork Beo reports.

The person said: "Lunch time visit. Food tasty. One waitress didn't recognise Pellegrino as a mineral water."

And the owners of the popular spot made sure to reply to the customer to share their dismay that an employee of theirs didn't know what Pellegrino is - although we sense a bit of sarcasm.

The owner said: "With reviews you have to take on board the good and the bad. The good the food was tasty, thanks.

"And the bad! Our waitress didn't know about a brand of luxurious, sparkling drinking water from northern Italy?"

They added on their Facebook page that they will "strive to improve" - plenty of followers of the pub praised them for their response over what some labelled "fancy water".
