Five teenagers were rushed to hospital last night after a serious crash in Cork.
Gardaí and emergency services are still at the scene of the single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the R633 Bog Road, between Redbarn Cross and Youghal Road Junction, Cork, at approximately 9:25pm last night.
Three males and two females aged in their teens were taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries - CorkBeo reports.
The road is currently closed for examination by Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
The crash is one of multiple that has taken place on Irish roads this morning in icy conditions.
