Cork make one change for Super 8s clash with Dublin

Cork boss Ronan McCarthy has made just one change to his team for Saturday night's Super 8s clash with Dublin at Croke Park.

The only change from the side that thrashed Laois last weekend sees Fermoy's Tomas Clancy come in at centre-back in place of Kevin O'Donovan for the Rebel County's first last-eight outing since 2014.

Killian O'Hanlon makes the starting XV but it remains entirely possible that he will be pulled from the team in the hours before throw-in, which is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday night.

O'Hanlon was forced off in the first half against Laois with a head injury and he continues to be monitored in the days leading up to the game.

McCarthy will wait until the last minute before he makes a decision on O'Hanlon but the Cork medical team will have the final say on whether or not it's safe to play the Kilshanning midfielder.

Cork:  Mark White; James Loughrey, Thomas Clancy, Kevin Flahive; Liam O'Donovan, Tomás Clancy, Mattie Taylor; Ian Maguire (c), Killian O'Hanlon; Kevin O'Driscoll, Sean White, Ruairi Deane; Mark Collins, Brian Hurley, Luke Connolly

Subs:  Michael Martin, Aidan Browne, Kevin O'Donovan, Peter Murphy, Stephen Cronin, Cian Kiely, Ronan O'Toole, John O'Rourke, Paul Kerrigan, Michael Hurley, Stephen Sherlock.
