Cork footballers Killian O'Hanlon and Aidan Browne ruled out for season after suffering ACL injuries

The Cork footballers will have to find a new midfield partnership for the upcoming League and championship after Killian O'Hanlon suffered an ACL injury in training.

The Rebels, in fact, have lost two players to the long-term injury in the past week, with 22-year-old defender Aidan Browne also ruled out after an accidental training ground collision last Saturday.

O'Hanlon's ruptured his ACL and and medial meniscus during last Tuesday's session, and there was no contact involved.

O'Hanlon, 28, played at midfield in last year's Munster final loss to Tipperary but he has also played in the half-forward line since making his Cork debut three years ago.

Cork kick off their Allianz League Division 2 south challenge against Kildare on May 15.
