Sean McLoughlin is refusing to let transfer speculation distract him and insists he only has eyes for Cork City.
The highly-regarded centre back turned down League One and SPL interest to sign for the Rebels in June 2017.
Clubs continue to monitor him but McLoughlin said: “I’m just focused on Cork City and there’s no point speculating as you’ll only take your eye off the ball.
“I experienced it last year and I dealt with it. Every young player wants to play at the highest level but I’m focused on Cork City.”

After a shaky start, the Rebels head to arch rivals Dundalk tonight on the back of two wins on the spin.
They won 4-3 away to Finn Harps and followed up with a 2-0 win at home to Bohemians and McLoughlin reckons clean sheets are vital to their progress.
“We need to build on that one as we have the players to score goals," he said.
Keeping Dundalk hitman Patrick Hoban under wraps tonight will be McLoughlin’s brief.
“He’s a good player and we know what he’s about. A big strong presence who can hold up the ball.
“He’s a threat for them but we’ve done well in the past to nullify that. Dundalk are a bit more direct (than they were).
“But in the President’s Cup, we got on the ball and played them off the park in the second-half. We’ve got results up there in the past and we want to do the same.”
