Cork City Fire Brigade shared dramatic photos of their officers battling an inferno in the early hours of the morning.
The blaze broke out in an apartment at 4am on the Lower Glanmire Road in Cork City.
Cork City Fire Brigade said in a Twitter post: “04:00 this morning Blue Watch crews dealt with an apartment fire on the Lower Glanmire Road.
“Headquarters, Ballyvolane, a Third Officer, @GardaTraffic and @AmbulanceNAS all in attendance. #CorkFire”
