Coretrax appoints four new members to senior leadership team

Coretrax has appointed four new members to its senior leadership and moved to a new regional headquarters in Aberdeen.

The well bore tool technology firm has moved its European headquarters to a new facility at Badentoy industrial estate, in order to support increased business demand across the region.

The premises is about 70,000 sq ft of office, warehouse and yard space. A total of 60 employees will be based at the site initially, with plans to increase headcount this year.

Coretrax has appointed Keith Bradford as its new regional manager. He joins from Varel Energy Solutions, where he was regional director.

Prior to this, Bradford held the role of general manager with Downhole Products. He has more than 25 years’ industry experience and will be responsible for leading Coretrax’s expansion across Europe, Africa, Russia and the Caspian region.

Coretrax has also doubled the size of its Middle East headquarters in Dubai, after moving into a new office space in the city and an operations hub in Abu Dhabi.

It has appointed Murray Forbes as vice president of sales and marketing, who will be located at the new site. He has more than 25 years’ experience in well operations, technical support and product development.

Forbes held several senior positions at major oilfield service companies and was most recently global sales director at Welltec. He will work with Coretrax’s senior leadership team to drive the company’s current technology offering.

It also appointed Bob Murdoch as eastern hemisphere expandables operations manager. He has more than 30 years’ experience in technical operations and joins the business from Halliburton, where he was operations manager for liner hangers.

He will be responsible for leading Coretrax’s expandable technology range in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Finally, Emile Sevadjian becomes vice president of expandables engineering, based in Houston. He has more than 26 years’ experience and also joins the business from Halliburton, where he was engineering technology manager.

Kenny Murray, chief executive officer at Coretrax, said: “Our new, larger offices in Aberdeen and Dubai are a significant milestone for the business as we gear up for further expansion in the next 12 months.
