Corentin Tolisso has already handed Tottenham major transfer boost amid Tanguy Ndombele rumours

Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele faces an uncertain future in north London with rumours circulating over his future at the club.

The 24-year-old, who still has around four years left on his Spurs contract, has asked to leave the club, according to Sky Sports.

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo admitted he could not "convince players to play" for the club when asked about the Frenchman's future.

Espirito Santo said: "What happened in the past I can't even think about, I don't mention out of respect.

"What I can tell you is that Tanguy is with us, he works but we have to speak honestly and to take the best out of Tanguy [it] has to come from himself.

"I don't want to go much further than that but it has to come from himself.

"We already had a chance to talk but it must come from himself. I said it before, my job here is not to convince players to play for Tottenham Hotspur, it is to prepare players to play for Tottenham Hotspur."

Now, Sky Sports are reporting that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Ndombele before the transfer window closes later this month.

The news outlet claims that the German champions are willing to include Corentin Tolisso in a player plus cash deal to sign Ndombele.

Tolisso, who now has less than 12 months remaining on his existing contract with Bayern, has been heavily linked with an exit from the Allianz Arena in recent weeks.

The France international has previously spoke about a possible move to the Premier League, with his old comments potentially being good news for Spurs.

“Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal,” Tolisso told France Football in October 2016, as per HITC.

“I love the Premier League and I think I have the profile. This is the championship that also offers more competition, which is the most open, the most hard-fought and most spectacular.”
