Cordy Glenn is back on Bengals roster — but his status is unknown

The Cincinnati Bengals activated suspended left tackle Cordy Glenn on Monday and waived Anthony Zettel to make room for him.

But Glenn wasn’t with the team Monday, per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com and coaches aren’t ready to say if he’ll even practice this week.

Last week, Glenn was finally cleared from his preseason concussion and things fell apart from there. He was reportedly fined $200,000, got in an argument, asked for his release and was suspended for one game.

It sounds like the Bengals will take a “wait and see” approach with their supposed starting left tackle but the prior reports make it seem like the relationship is irreparable.

The Bengals added Zettel in an effort to help out a defensive line missing Carlos Dunlap and Carl Lawson in the loss to Jacksonville. But the offensive line is a bigger priority, provided the relationship is salvageable and Glenn can get back on the field.
