A police cordon is in place outside the Manchester Science Park following an early hours attack.
Officers were called to the scene on Pencroft Way, just off Oxford Road in Manchester city centre, at around 1.30am this morning (Friday). A man was taken to hospital from the scene.
He suffered face and head injuries, police said. No arrests have been made at this stage.

This morning, an area outside the offices and lab spaces is taped off. Pictures show a cordon in place around a grassed area with benches, with one police vehicle stationed on the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called to reports of an assault on Pencroft Way at around 1.30am this morning. A man was taken to hospital.
"He suffered injuries to his head and face. No arrests have been made."
