Fire crews were called to a blaze at a house in Failsworth this evening (Friday).
The fire broke out at a house on Oldham Road at around 8.15pm.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
Crews remain at the scene and a cordon has been put in place.

An area of Oldham Road near a row of shops has been taped off, as well as a section of Norman Street.
Pictures taken this evening show two fire engines stationed at the scene, as well as several police officers.
It has not been confirmed whether anyone was injured in the fire.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 8.15pm on Friday 9 July, firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a home on Oldham Road, Failsworth.
“Two fire engines from Oldham and Hollins fire stations arrived quickly at the scene.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
“GMFRS crews remain in attendance.”
