Cordarrelle Patterson says Super Bowl LIII win means nothing to him

Bill Belichick seems to have molded Cordarrelle Patterson’s thought process to some degree. Patterson, who left the New England Patriots for the Chicago Bears this offseason, is on to 2019.

He was asked about winning a Super Bowl in New England. His answer would probably make Belichick proud.

“What’s it like to be a Super Bowl champ? Honestly, that Super Bowl don’t mean (expletive) to me, know what I’m saying?” Patterson told Red Line Media’s Justin Turpin on Sunday. “I’m in a new era right now, I’m on a new team, so it’s a new opportunity for me to bring my legacy (and let it) live on to another team. So whatever happened in the last year, in the past, that’s in the past so I’m just moving forward.”

Patterson was one of the Patriots’ more versatile weapons in 2018. He played running back, receiver and kick returner, racking up 247 receiving yards, 228 rushing yards, 663 return yards and five total touchdowns.
