It seems ‘Corbynmania’ remains well and truly alive if images of Jeremy Corbyn’s face tattooed onto a man’s back are anything to go by.
The picture, showing a rather large head-shot of the Labour leader inked on to the right side of a man’s back, was shared on Twitter by a friend of the Corbyn fan.
The unknown recipient of the inking is apparently enjoying his new body-art going viral, as according to his friend he thinks “the whole thing is side-splittingly funny”.
‘Corbynmania’ was the term describing the popularity of the Islington North MP during the campaign for leader of the party.
Mr Corbyn regularly packed out venues, before claiming victory in the Labour leadership with a landslide of 59.5% of first preference votes.
However, people choosing to have permanent fixtures of politicians on their body is evident across the political spectrum.
At the annual UKIP conference in September, Nigel Farage met super-fan Kerrie Webb, and even signed her inking of the Eurosceptic politician on her arm.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is another public figure to have seemingly been supportive of a fan’s arm which brandishes her face.
The X- factor judge, who is known to have a number of tattoos herself, posted an image of the inking on her Instagram account in 2014.
Dwayne Johnson is another celebrity who thanked a fan on social media after seeing an image of a leg tattoo of ‘The Rock’.
A spokesperson for Mr Corbyn told The Independent he was unsure whether the MP had seen the tattoo, but said his team was shown the image on Monday.
